POSITION TYPE FULL-TIME
Duties:
Clerk 3 Administrative Stream duties will vary depending on the position. Duties may include:
- Assessing, processing and completing applications;
- Preparing statistical data or performing specialized tasks which requires independent research and compilation;
- Preparing, checking and completing payrolls;
- Data entry;
- Maintaining physical and electronic records.
Duties will include providing other clerical/administrative support as required.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience performing clerical and administrative duties in an office environment, such as data entry, preparing specialized or highly complex documents and processing detailed documentation and manual and electronic file maintenance.
- Experience interpreting and applying policies and/or procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and effectively manage deadlines.
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective working relationships with colleagues, other departments and a variety of partners.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) or similar software applications.
- Effective written communication skills with experience drafting and editing correspondence or other communications.
- Effective verbal communication skills to clearly and professionally communicate with internal and external partners.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desired:
- Experience working with the public in front-line customer service-oriented environment. (e.g. serving the public in person).
- Experience working with SAP or an equivalent software.
