WHAT YOU WILL DO

The E-Commerce Coordinator is a supportive position within the E-Commerce department. The incumbent will support the execution of on-site initiatives to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience. The incumbent will manage product catalogues, optimize conversion rates, contribute to SEO efforts, and assist with UX-drive site enhancements. Working cross-functionally, the incumbent will coordinate projects across teams and ensure all E-Commerce initiatives are executed with precision.

Location

This position is hybrid/remote. The incumbent will be required to report to our Headquarters, located at The Forks in Winnipeg, Manitoba as directed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains website by uploading and updating product pages, photos/media, and story content
  • Performs administrative duties to ensure product catalogue health including organizing, filing, and archiving various media files
  • Reviews website to ensure functionality and quality assurance to ensure a seamless customer journey
  • Assist with synchronizing website to organization marketing calendar as directed
  • Collects, collates, and maintains data; generates and summarizes routing and ad hoc reports
  • Monitors and communicates information or issues on website performance, sales, and overall function
  • Scans competitive landscape for site merchandising, best practices, trends, and recommends improvements and opportunities
  • Ensures site information is accurate and consistent, tracks updates, and action changes
  • Communicates errors, troubleshoots and problem-solves to address issues or potential risks
  • Documents processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal Experience

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in E-Commerce or Information Systems is required or equivalent experience in the fields of business administration, marketing, or web development
  • Experience in website building, database management, or analytics is preferred
  • Experience with ERP software including Shopify platforms is preferred

Educational Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
  • Post secondary education computer science, web design or related field is preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
