POSITION TYPE SEASONAL (May to September)

The bartender position at The Common ensures flawless operations and a positive visitor experience at our indoor and outdoor beer and wine kiosks. The Common bartenders offer beer, wine, and non-alcoholic recommendations, and build genuine connections with all visitors at The Forks by offering a warm and generous welcome. The Common Bartender is someone who will assist in:

  • Pouring beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages and offering knowledgeable recommendations to visitors.
  • Educating visitors about The Forks and The Common.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
  • Stocking beer, wine, glassware, and other products.
  • Moving full and empty kegs in and out of the coolers.
  • Receiving beer and wine orders and completing inventory.
  • Ensuring coolers are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Identifying issues and concerns on site and reporting them via internal communications systems.
  • Supporting the Eco Team with collecting glassware and dishware in The Forks Market and on the patio.

The Common Bartender is someone who:

  • Is adaptable and has the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and late nights.
  • Has full time, open, and flexible availability from May – September, including working weekends and holidays.
  • Has exceptional communication and customer service skills with a genuine excitement to build connections with visitors at The Forks.
  • Is able to work up to 8 hours on your feet, indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cooler temperatures.
  • Has experience working in customer service or hospitality.
  • Is able to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Has their Smart Choices Certification
