POSITION TYPE FULL-TIME
Job Summary
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Providing high-quality emergency medical care and treatment to patients in various environments
- Respond to emergency calls and offer professional pre-hospital care
- Assist in coordinating the transportation of patients, ensuring their well-being and safety
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and site personnel to ensure effective patient care
- Document and maintain accurate records of patient care and interventions
- Two weeks on, two weeks off rotations at various communities across Manitoba
Qualifications
- Manitoba College of Paramedics license
- Class 4 Manitoba driver’s license
- Malpractice insurance
- Security clearance
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advances Cardia Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to travel
- 1,950 regular working hours in past 2 years
- International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
- WHMIS 2015 & TDG certifications
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Other trainings as required
