Primary Care Paramedics – Various Sites in Northern Manitoba

Job Summary

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Providing high-quality emergency medical care and treatment to patients in various environments
• Respond to emergency calls and offer professional pre-hospital care
• Assist in coordinating the transportation of patients, ensuring their well-being and safety
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and site personnel to ensure effective patient care
• Document and maintain accurate records of patient care and interventions
• Two weeks on, two weeks off rotations at various communities across Manitoba

Qualifications

• Manitoba College of Paramedics license
• Class 4 Manitoba driver’s license
• Malpractice insurance
• Security clearance
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advances Cardia Life Support (ACLS)
• Ability to travel
• 1,950 regular working hours in past 2 years
• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
• WHMIS 2015 & TDG certifications
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Other trainings as required
