POSITION TYPE TERM (12 Week), CONTRACT, Minimum 20 hrs per week
Hybrid position, primarily working at home, occasional time in client offices
Key Responsibilities:
Environmental & Business Related Research
- Conduct research on environmental and sustainability topics.
- Assist in developing business plans, program evaluations, grant proposals and reports.
- Research contacts, funding, partnership, and market opportunities for environmental projects.
- Assist in the design of materials to market and communicate such as websites, promotional materials.
Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to qualified candidates who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit).
- Recent graduate (within 2 years) or student in final year of a post-secondary degree in Business, Environmental Studies, Indigenous Studies, Economics, or related field.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
